President of Greensboro Garage, Inc., Greensboro, VT; serves on several non-profit boards for arts organizations; contemporary folk art collector; lives in Greensboro, VT.

Margaret Smith - Secretary

Owner of Carlson Real Estate, Stowe, VT; former educator; also serves as board member of Stowe Land Trust, lives in Stowe, VT.

Elinor Earle
Board member since 2001
Founder of Earle Communications, is a copywriter for a wide variety of clients. An art history major, Elinor has served on the board of several art-related non-profit organizations. Prior to moving to Vermont, she was the Assistant Curator of the AIA Foundation, Washington, DC; lives in Stowe, VT and Tucson, AZ.

Gwen Stevens
Board member since 2001
Gwen Stevens is President of Stevens Design and Construction. She has long been interested in the arts, particularly in naïve and primitive genres, and photography. Gwen divides her time between Tucson, Arizona and Stowe, VT.

Ginny Neel
Board member since 2001
Ginny has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations, including the Helen Day Art Center and Governor’s Institute. Ginny is actively involved in contemporary art issues; mother-in-law Alice Neel. She lives in Stowe, VT.

George Hemmens
Board member since 2002
Professor Emeritus of Urban Planning and Architecture and Emeritus Director of the City Design Center at University of Illinois at Chicago; lives in East Hardwick, VT and spends most days as a potter.

Bill Brooks
Board member since 2003
Development Director for the Calvin Coolidge Foundation. He holds a Masters Degree in American Folk Art Studies from New York University, and is a folk art collector. He served as Executive Director of Frog Hollow Vermont State Craft Center for five years. He is currently a Board Member of the Middlebury College Museum of Art; lives in New Haven, Vermont.
